The refund policy outlined below applies to services provided by ACJ Careers (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing or booking any service through our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
Due to the personalised and time-based nature of CV writing and mock interview services, refunds are limited and subject to the conditions set out below. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
Refund Policy - the basics

1. General Policy
ACJ Careers provides personalised professional services tailored to individual clients. As such, once work has begun, refunds are generally not available.

2. CV Writing Services
No refunds will be issued once work on your CV has commenced.
“Work commenced” includes (but is not limited to) reviewing submitted information, drafting content, or research related to your CV.
If you cancel before work has started, you may be eligible for a full refund.

3. Mock Interview Services
Mock interview sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be refunded or rescheduled.
Failure to attend a scheduled mock interview without notice will be treated as a no-show and will not be refunded.

4. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered at our discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as:
Serious illness
Bereavement
Technical failure on our part that prevents delivery of the service
Supporting evidence may be requested where appropriate.

5. Unsatisfactory Service
If you are unhappy with a service provided:
Please contact us within 7 days of service delivery
We will make reasonable efforts to address concerns, which may include revisions or additional support
Refunds will not be issued solely based on dissatisfaction with outcomes such as lack of interview offers or job success.

6. Payment Processing
Refunds (where approved) will be issued using the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

7. Statutory Rights (UK)
This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including rights relating to services not provided with reasonable care and skill.

8. Changes to This Policy
ACJ Careers reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
